CS will stop the infections, but taking vitamins and other minerals will
also help. Muscle twitches and aches are often helped by calcium, balanced
with magnesium. I use 2000 mg of cal to 500 mg of mag. Calcium is a natural
pain killer. (I used it during my third labor, and it worked.) Vitamin A and
E both help, as they are the skin vitamins, and that includes all the
"skin", including the blood vessels.
Vitamin A stops migraine headaches, by making the vessels stretchier.
Perhaps it can help the intestines to be less painful. I take 25,000 IU of A
and 400 IU of E daily, from natural sources.
I get lots of heartburn, so I take Alkamints, which use calcium to stop the
acidity. One of the problems Lyme disease can cause is Irritable Bowel
Syndrome. Though my Lyme has been gone for 2 years, I still get IBD
occasionally.
Another thing that helped me immensely is chiropractic adjustments, which
straightened the spine, then therapeutic massage, which keeps the muscles
relaxed to help keep the spine where it belongs.
A messed up spine can cause a lot of problems. Recently my hubby has vbeen
having hellish headaches. Come to find out, his neck bones were almost
straight up and down, with no curve. (It stems from a motorcycle crash 20
years ago.) The adjustments have stopped his headaches!
Check your diet to see if anything you eat causes distress. You may be
developing an allergy. I am now troubled by eggs, which never bothered me
before. Maybe it is in something they feed the hens. Who knows?
I hope these suggestions will help. Keep us posted!
