Tom and list,
        When I make my CS, I stir the water just before I put the electrodes 
in, and the silver comes off in a swirl. I have not compared this 
with non-stirred CS, but that will be one of the things I will check 
for in my darkfield studies as I get the time.
        Just my 2 cents worth.
