Greetings to all, Joyce kindly provided a pointer to a lab test report that is similar to what we are proposing doing here. Thanks Joyce, it's very interesting and the results are in line with what we would expect but I have one very serious problem with the test protocol. If I read the report correctly then the most dilute CS solution used was at 2500 ppm. That's way, way stronger, by two orders of magnitude, than the typical strengths I see recommended for human consumption (5 to 25 ppm). I don't know of anyone who is advising taking CS at a 2500 ppm concentrations. I would still like to see the tests run at something like 5, 25, 150, 500, and 1000 ppm. This at least covers the typical concentration ranges of normal usage. What do you all think?
Additionally, I have a friend who works as an analytical chemist in an environmental lab and we might be able to get one freebie assay done. I'm thinking that we might want to do that for whatever CS sample we decide to use for the Microbial Challenge Test. Pledges are coming in thick and fast. Warms my heart.
