That's a pretty telling remark, and makes me look forward to being able to analyze as many different do-it-yourself techniques as possibe, and compare them with the commercial products people have had success with. I *know* folks have had good results with home made products. Most of the CS people make would work just fine if they knew how much they need to use. It might be worth more for people to find out *how much* of their CS yields a certain amount of protection. Say, a week without spoilage. There is no reason to say you have to be able to protect 8 oz of milk with a tsp of CS, when the same result might be achievable just fine with a tablespoon full instead! The problems most people have with CS that doesn't work is in not knowing quite how much silver they're getting with their process and how much of it to use. Be well, Mike D.
