Hi Bonnie,
I'll start this off by telling you about my CS experiences.
I make my own CS with 3-9volt batteries, a light bulb and .999 fine
silver wire. I have been making my own for over a year now.
I use mine for various reasons. Anytime I have an infection I use
it. The main thing I have seen results with are my teeth. I do have
trouble with my teeth, and from time to time I get one that abcesses
on me. (have one right now giving me trouble). I will take the CS in
my mouth and swish it around until it gets body temp. and then hold
it on the tooth. I will do this several times per day at about a
tablespoon each time. I continue this until the tooth has stopped
hurting, which takes different lengths of time depending on the
tooth. It will generally stop the tooth from hurting in a day or 2,
but after a few days of staying off the CS the tooth will start to
hurt again, and I will hit it again until it stops. If I would
continue taking it, the tooth would probably not hurt at all. I just
get lazy and stop!
I have had no side effects that I can tell, from my use of homemade
CS.
        Hope this helps!
        Jim Einert, N.D.
