Kris, Mike, bjs, Gentlemen and Ladies of the Silver List,

We've staggered sideways into what would likely become a culture war
over whether the UN is God-sent, the Anti-Christ, or something other
or in-between.

Please do not attempt to argue this issue out here on the
silver-list. The results will be hurt feelings and a lot of annoyed
list members.

Any strongly divisive political and ideological discussions need
to go off-line ASAP, unless they directly involve government action
related to CS. In any case they must remain civil, which is very
difficult as we can all see.

Here in Cyberspace you will find many points of view on the UN:

* The UN is a powerless and ineffective bureaucracy.

* The UN is on the verge of establishing global tyranny.

* The UN's mission is noble and humanitarian.

* The UN's mission is evil and wholly corrupt.

If you're new to the net you won't have been exposed to a lot of
this, and the extent and intensity of anti-UN sentiment may surprise
you. In any case you won't change people's minds on either side of
the issue easily.

I believe it was Mike Slivinski who originally remarked that
humanitarian organizations ought to learn about CS and spread it's
use. Indeed it would be *nice*, but as we saw, others question these
organizations' ability or will to advance *anything* of virtue.

We won't resolve this issue here and still learn anything about
Colloidal Silver.

I encourage you to continue the discussion in e-mail and try to
learn from one another. Include me in the debate if you'd like.
I *love* a good political discussion, but I won't do it on the list.
<VBG> ( Should we start a silver-politics-list? <grin> )

Other than anything that gets posted before this message is seen, or
other leakage of that sort, lets take it off line. Thanks.
