They don't have nice glass jars out there.
Hard to find one gallon jars even in  the US now since much has changed to
plastic.
Plastic is better than looking for jars.
Plus the reaction is not going on near the plastic.
Once the solution is made  I would put it in glass
in the dark since small jars are available
