Excellent tutorial. I haven't looked at most of this stuff for twenty 
years!

There's an omission from your analysis, somewhere, probably. I'm 
seeing some orders of magnitutde that don't quite make sense.

.028 g per 8 oz would be .112 g/quart. Using the rough approximation 
of a quart being equal to a liter, that's 112 milligrams/liter or 112 
ppm! We only seem to actually get on the order of 5 to 20 ppm.

The obvious destination for that "extra" 100 ppm that we usually
*don't* get in our product is that grey sludge of silver particles
and the black oxide that form on the negative and positive
electrodes, respectively. We're talking maybe 10% efficiency here!

I wonder if that is one effect of the use of salt as an electrolyte:
greater efficiency in the conversion of bulk silver to silver
colloid? Not an important issue unless you're making CS for mass 
market purposes and every penny counts.

All of which still says nothing at all about the characteristics of 
the particles themselves.
