Since my colloidal silver method (10 cups at a time) takes several hours,
I want to build a colloidal silver generator that uses line current rather
than continue using my battery-powered generator.

I have a few questions about his design:
 - He uses two diodes to get pulsed DC - why not use a bridge rectifier and
   get constant DC voltage? (I have a bunch of bridge rectifiers.)
 - Does the capacitance matter? (I have a bunch of capacitors, some
   bigger, some lots bigger, than what he suggests.)
 - Is higher voltage really better? (I have a bunch of transformers,
   120 VAC to 14 VAC, 120 VAC to 24 VAC, 120 VAC to 36 VAC, and I want
   to use the 'best' one.)
 - On the topic of higher voltage, why not just use 120 VAC through
   a bridge rectifier with some capacitors to smooth out the pulses
   in the generated DC voltage?

Anyone tried any of the above? If so, what sort of results did you get?

I will be adding a fuse to my circuit (I'd rather blow a little fuse
in my generator than a fuse in my electrical panel).

Is there any reason to (or not to) put in a switch that changes the
positive/negative outputs? Would periodically switching this
(when the generator is on) decrease the amount of sludge builtup on
any one silver wire? If so, has anyone tried putting a timer in their
generator, controlling a relay that switches the positive/negative outputs?
If so, what frequency did you use?
