Mike, You do routinely get that fuzzy buildup and wipe it off during processing, though, right?
Yes I do, it seems to come more often the longer I process it. You don't usually see much on your filter paper, do you? No, just a few specks here and there Are you making it in the jar you're storing it in? I ask that because I do get some silver plating out on the inside of the glass I use to make it in. I have to wash that off periodically or it just starts to look bad. I've never actually washed out either of my storage bottles, so I don't know if I'd see the same thing. I can't see any darkening through the (already pretty dark) glass. Maybe some of the silver comes out of suspension and coats the glass. It would be interesting to test the as-made and after-storage concentrations to see if there's a big difference. I make it in one glass and then put it in the storage glass. I will not wipe it out this time and see what that will do. Thanks Mike for all your help. Donna
