IT ISN'T SO!
I first heard about colloidal silver on a local talk radio show. I
went to the web and deja-news to search on it. I came up with the
following:
LOTS of MLM people hawking their stuff.
LOTS of idiots, who obviously knew nothing, bashing it!
And a few, solid sensible people defending CS rationally.
And that led me to the CS list, where, with few exceptions, the
people have good sense and are among the kindest folks I've met on
the net. You should feel proud of yourself for not listening to the
idiots...

I spent a long time reading everything I could find on this stuff
before I did anything else, until I was absolutely sure that I
wouldn't be taking *anywhere near* enough silver into my body to
even come close to toxic levels.
Some discussions that surfaced recently have pointed out that the
*major* advantage of the CS we're making is that the particles are
small enough that your lymphatic system can flush them out of you.
It takes bigger particles *and* much larger quantities than we are
using to cause argyria (skin staining).
So there's no point in auditioning for "Smurfs on Ice". <grin>
