Well the product that I finished with was crystal clear. There was not
yellowing. I thought about it for a bit and decided though that there had to
be silver in the water. All I had was distilled water in a cup with a
initial current of about .19ma. I could watch the current increase. There is
only one reason the current increased, there had to be more silver in the
water. I even stopped the process and stirred the water with a toothpick so
all the little colloidal particles would not be just between the 2
electrodes. One of my electrodes had turned a dark color and the other
looked pretty normal. I know I have read about the discoloration but I did
not have it. I stopped the process at the final current of .48 ma. IT took
about 20 minutes. I checked my electrode spacing to make sure the electrodes
had not gotten closer together. The only thing I could figure was there had
to be the colloidal silver there to change the current. I decided not to
worry about the color. I might be foolish.
