John,

I bought a very inexpensive particle meter from Hanna Instruments that I use
to measure the silver content of my CS. Since I start with distilled water
which is 0 PPM (our local tap water is about 120 PPM) it is very easy to see
exactly what concentrate I am getting. After about 20 minutes in hot water
I usually reach about 5-7 PPM.

The Hanna meter is only about $20 plus a couple of dollars shipping and
works great. If you would like more info let me know.
