Chuck; If you mean striking an arc between two silver electrodes under water, yes, both my HVAC and PLVDC units have the push to arc under water. I did not like the way it was going though, obvious fallout and degradation of the silver. Also there is the danger of elemental transmutation when discharging under water. This process is not publicly understood but the results are that you can end up with other elements, some of which could be bad for us. This can also take place when resistors explode, during cavitation, lightning ground strikes and when contacts are disengaged under heavy load. Do a web search on plasmoids...RONjb
