Ron, Did the same thing with an acetylene torch last year. Used vitamin E oil and then a loose fisting gauze pad saturated with CS. Worked like a charm. About two weeks no scar no sign of the burn. Size was about 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 on the back of my hand (wasn't wearing gloves while cutting and became distracted) looked like a char coaled steak.
