Should end up with 41,710 viruses detectable in the program. When a person purchases the Norton program it gives free updates for a year, after that a small fee. It will automatically update on any schuedule you tell it. Or you can tell it to update anytime you feel like it. I purchased my Norton Anti-virus program at Wal-Mart for $9.95.
