If she has Beta Strep group A. commonly known as strep throat, it can produce toxins that affect the kidney and heart later on (rheumatic heart disease is caused by this) , as is a kidney problem. If she hasn't responded to the CS by now she may need something else. i know CS is great but it may not kill everything. carol
