They must get kickbacks. I was on Paxil (similar to Prozac) until I read
Dr. Peter Breggin's book, "Talking Back to Prozac." I asked the doctor to
please change me to one of the older, tried-and-true anti-depressants and he
refused. He said he wanted to raise my daily dose of Paxil instead. I fired
him and got off Paxil on my own. It's been two years and with the assistance
of better diet, herbs and supplements, I feel just fine. CS has helped in
many ways, though I've only been on it for a few months. I had previously
thought I'd be on anti-depressants for the rest of my life. They did help,
but I'm glad to be free of them.
