Thank you for that Kirsteen, I feel such a sloth really, I do always opt for the easy way to do things I'm afraid, which is why I have always bought my CS. The thought of having to distill the water as well is mind boggling to me as I'm just getting my head around making my own CS! As you say though, it *is* so expensive to buy, even at the rate I get it at, and I find I'm using it increasingly more now. And you say you make yours using the basic method? Brave you! I'm just working out all the costs so I can get my own generator, but the stumbling block is the distilled water in this country. I will get there eventually I suppose. Meanwhile, I will trawl ebay! Hi Dee I'm in the UK. I couldn't afford to keep buying CS and tried everywhere to get distilled water. I finally bough a small distiller on eBay and haven't looked back. I run the distiller over night and once I've got a batch of water the CS is so easy to make. I've got the reassurance of always having it on hand and if I do run out I can have another batch in under half an hour. And that's making it the really simple way with 4 batteries and a couple of leads. I'd recommend it to anyone cheers Kirsteen --
