Hey, I'm going to try that for my thumb tendon. I have a sproinged and
swollen tendon at the base of my left thumb that just won't heal as I
can't avoid using my hand enough to give it adequate rest.

Lay down on the floor on your stomach, and put your arms at your side,
with your hands PALMS DOWN, UNDERNEATH (this is the most important
part) your body/legs - ie, you're now lying on top of your hands, with
your hands underneath your thighs, palms *down* flat on the floor. Lie
like this for as long as you can hold it (I tried it, and it was a
little uncomfortable, but not painful) - for a minimum of a few
minutes, with 5-10 minutes the goal. Do this as often as you can. The
more often - and the longer you hold it each session - the faster your
hands will respond.
