That will give you a total of minerals being eliminated at a given time
via that pathway.
But won't tell you what minerals or indicate any other pathway, like sweat.
It would also be greatly slewed by how much water the kidneys are processing.
If you drank a lot of liquids, the outflow concentration would be quite
well diluted.
My dad says that using sea salt actually lowers his blood pressure and
the more he uses the lower it gets..down to "normal"
Since the metals absorption/elimination system works on a balance of
interactive minerals and Sea Salt contains many minerals, I can see where
that could be possible.
Me? ..I just think it tastes better. I use both, for the iodine AND minerals.

A low salt diet is often recommended for hypertensives.
It's very difficult to truly know how low you're getting because of
nutritional info and portion sizes don't often match.
Was wondering if it would be practical to use TDS urine readings as a
guide to daily salt status.
What do you think?
