There are various formulae about quantities of water based on person's weight. They may be accurate.
Plain water can be hard to force down, in my experience, but adding a little natural salt changes that. It also adds what you need in the way of minerals. I use Himalayan, sometimes Celtic salt, but NEVER refined, heated table salt which has been robbed of valuable mineral$ and whose crystalline structure is destroyed. Much has been said on salt in the past - a web search on natural salt would be a good investment of time. Strong salt may force parasitic worms out of the skin, Lyme researchers report; Daddybob has written that he suspects that using a weaker brine over a longer period may be kinder to the person but still effective. I think that a pinch per pint would be a good idea for all the water one drinks. I usually have a jar near the water source containing a saturated solution of Himalayan salt. (The water will only dissolve so much of the salt, and the rest of the salt remains solid. The jar is topped up with water from time to time, and in due course all the salt dissolves in the water. Someone did a price comparison and found it cheaper to buy a lamp made out of a big block of pink Himalayan salt and take off the lamp fittings to dissolve the block of salt rather than buy smaller chunks or milled salt. I am currently buying granulated salt, hoping that this will retain the crystal structure more than compleley powdered, but it is still excellent, not too coarse for using on food.) Currently I am also adding borax, Epsom salts and MSM to the drinking water when I remember, just to be sure of getting some sometimes. Good salt added to vegetable water is also delicious and mineral rich. Others have written about the physical benefits of salt water to the body.
