Also wanted to comment about almonds that Wayne mentioned. I have always
heard and have found with experience that almonds seem to put weight on.,
I find the same thing with peanut butter.
Interesting Indeed. I eat peanut butter with coconut oil mixed and a
little honey. That is two fats of course but they do not make me gain weight.
Do you eat good or bad peanut butter? Surely not the bad kind.
Almonds, ? They have no carbs and are fat and protein.
Plus Almonds are the second highest food in Potassium, Black Strap
molasses is number 1.
I guess some people could gain weight on water and air. But most should not.
Sunflower seeds are 48 % fat by weight. I have eaten them for many
years. I never blamed them for weight gain. I did gain weight a time or
two in my live. Driving and sitting too much.
I just do not believe that a single thing causes and that a single thing
cures. The body is a very complex chemistry lab.
It needs a bunch of goodies to get sick or to get well.
I agree that if you are already eating lots of food, maybe a little too
much, Almonds, peanut butter, and sunflower seeds might make one gain a
pound or two. Normally the opposite is true and these foods cause you to
eat less total food.
Remember that one great doctor says the hunger and thirst sensation are the
same.
Many people think they are hungry, in reality, they are thirsty.
I welcome different ideas and disagreements, as always.
