Plus Almonds are the second highest food in Potassium, Black Strap

That is incorrect, according to the USDA nutrient database, 100 grams of
almonds have 19.74 grams of carbohydrate.
Something is wrong. My listing shows 728. It is an old USDA
listing. If it is in fact 19.74 then tell us the #2 food. <grin>
Blackstrap shows 2492 mg. I think celery is high also.
Bananas are overrated as a potassium source. Of course people eat lots of
bananas, often several per day. So, that adds up.
Another source shows 210 mg for 28 grams. ( for Almonds )
Corrected to 100 grams is 750 mg potassium for 100 grams.
So, what do you think? We could find 100 sources and average them I suppose.
My memory is very good, so good in fact it has been a problem over the
years. I remember many things that should have been forgotten 50 years ago.
How many facts can the brain store in one Domain ? It is not
indefinite. The key, Make another Domain in the brain and you have more
storage capacity.
Possibly the potassium content of almonds vary from lot to lot.
I know the content of vitamins and minerals vary a lot on produce and
vegetables.
I usually increase the calcium, potassium, and magnesium being fed to my
vegetables when they are ripening by 150 to 250 ppm.
Fact is, I did not make a mistake even working from memory.
If my data is wrong, ........ I had a lot of intelligent help.
Another important question ?
Wonder why so many foods show NO POTASSIUM content on the label?
