This is an interesting thought Mike, as I wasn't vaccinated and was fed
very wholesome natural food in those days. Maybe this is one of the
reasons some of mine has remained for 64 years! Dee
Some of mine has also. But there is more to it than that.
Nothing last that long without some help.
Think, ....... "Brain Nutrients".
First, Cells don't live that long. Not sure how long a brain cell lives.
Over the years, my memory has been so good it bugged me at times. I
remembered things I wish I could forget.
I could remember a complete chess game, go home and record it.
Remembering things helps a technician. If you remember all the troubles,
and the causes, and the fixes, you do not have to trouble shoot. Just
recall and sort, and use your logic to make the decision.
One I walked up to a piece of equipment I had to fix.
I stood there about 2 seconds.
I was amazed.
My brain did a very fast rerun of the machine and all the troubles I had
fixed over the years.
I thought, Darn, what is happening here?
Of course if you don't have the logic and reasoning ability to go with
that, you will miss the target.
I had a boss that was a very smart man. Once he was trying to tell me how
something worked and how to fix it.
I had been to school on the machine. I listened to him attentively.
When he finished, I quoted every adjustment, from the book, in
sequence. From that day on, ....... he never told me anything else.
I guess he got the message.
If you study brain cells, how they work, the different domains in the
brain, and a few other areas, you will decide not all of our ability was
not inheridited. Some of it maybe.
The classic example I learned, studying old chess masters of the world, was
one that could play a perfect hand of bridge,
ten boards of checkers behind him on one side,
ten boards of chess on the other side, all at the same time.
The board games were blindfold games in that he did not see the boards.
He could take a lunch break, come back, and call up all the games to the
current position.
So, ...... that makes up feel a bit inferior.
The brain function still amazes me, Mine is a bit slower than it used to
be. and at time seems to looses some information.
Just when I get irritated because of this, the information will usually
make it to the top. <grin>
You might study "The Stack" also.
