The memory is like hearing. After my hearing declined to being near
deaf, I told people, I don't have to hear everything.
If I hear 20 to 30 percent, and remember it, that is fine.
About 80 % of what people say is not worth hearing and has little value.
At Dale Carnegie course we had a demonstration of memory
One student took a magazine home for a week. Next week, we used the book
to question him and observe his recall.
Article, page numbers, ads, and you name it.
I doubt that he did 100 % but close to 75 or 80 it seemed.
