I have only been doing this for a year or so, but I also have not read
anything suggesting a supression of the immune system. I wonder if he
is thinking about the old usage of the term, which is about a finely
ground suspension of metallic silver, which is a far different thing
than we take. A powdered form of the metal can be poisonous and/or
lethal if ingested or inhaled in concentrated form. This is true of
many elements.
I usually take mine in the am on an empty stomach, a mouthful, held for
10 minutes; then one or 2 more times a day, not with meals. It does
not interfere with my digestion, and there really is no real reason I
like taking it that way. It just suits me, is all- I feel that it goes
into the bloodstream thru my mouth better when it does not have to
compete with other things. I am also in the habit, for some years now,
to take probiotics when I feel like it as a part of a weekly routine.
Most people I have talked to that have not used it really don't know
what they are talking about, just heard this or that, or their info is
way out of date. If you are more concerned, you could ask him for a
reference, or where he got the info.

I was on another site for pets and it was posted that CS could
interfere with the immune system. Here is a portion of the quote: I
recently asked a well known pharmaceutical and nutritional biochemist
about colloidal silver. He expressed caution because colloidal silver
can actually suppress the immune system.
Since we are using CS/EIS I wanted to check with those that have more
experience than we do to see if this if factual. It also bring up a
question I have about taking CS with food. Should you stagger taking
CS to take on an empty stomach? Does it effect digestion?
