Scott, I hadn't read this far when I posted that your symptoms sounded like low thyroid to me. Now I feel even more sure that is probably the case. Levoxyl is straight synthetic T4, and nothing else. Synthetic T4 leaves most hypothyroid people feeling unwell. Your own thyroid would be making 9 thyroid hormones, including T4, IF it were working properly. It obviously isn't or you wouldn't have been put on Levoxyl. Armour has all the thyroid hormones we need, and it isn't synthetic. It's just dried up pig thyroids, which give us all of the hormones that we need in an amount similar to what we would get with our own. Hope this helps. Jodi
