That ban was lifted in 2002. You should be able to get it at any health
food store, or google for "L-Tryptophan" and you will find lots of
on-line sources.

Melatonan and L-Tryptophane are two very good supplements that can be
used.

I cannot use Melatonin. It disagrees with me. L-Tryptophane is great
but where can I buy it? The FDA has taken it off the market.
