Having said all that, it is just as important for every one of you to
learn to be thick-skinned enough that something like Charle's
gracelessness does *not* defeat you or interfere with your use of
online resources. There will *ALWAYS* be rude or thoughtless people in
any but the most strictly controlled online environment. You should
routinely expect to have to ignore more nonsense than you'd ever be
willing to tolerate in person.
