Surely anyone can wire one diode or a simple full wave bridge into the
circuit. Some of them cost near nothing, have 4 leads, and are
labeled AC, AC, + and - ..........
I must be missing something, .......... or someone else is.
Then, when all else fails, they could plug into the telephone jack.
That is about as complicated as wiring up a diode.
