PayPal is great and you have double protection. I use it for eBay. When you
use your CC you're protected anyway (even if you use PayPal)because you can
dispute or do a chargeback if the item you paid for is defective or it isn't
delivered.

I know that I can dispute charges on my bank debit card just like a CC too,
because it has a MasterCard logo:) I know because I've done it. A non eBay
company made charges to my MasterCard/Debit/ATM for unsatisfactory goods, I
sent the goods back and they didn't want to refund, so, I called the number
on my card. The Card Company sent me the paperwork to fill out. Less than 30
days later I had my money back. No muss no fuss.
I don't make chargebacks as a rule, but it's nice to know that I can if I
really need to.
Don't forget any dispute for ANYTHING having to do with CC's have to be IN
WRITING. I don't care what the customer rep tells you verbally on the phone.
If you read the small print in the agreement with your CC company it HAS to
be IN WRITING. Write it out, make a certified notarized copy for your
records, and send the original registered(signature required), Delivery
confirmation, or return receipt, so that you have proof of delivery. You can
also send mail with a mailing confirmation that proves you sent it.

You might use PayPal. . . they are pretty fool proof.
If you don't have an account with them, set one up. Then you
can use it instead of your charge card.
