You are producing the optimum ratio of colloidal to ionic silver, about
15% colloid, 85% ionic. Colloidal alone will not promote healing, nor
prevent scarring and ionic alone will not kill bacteria as well, and can
cause argyria. You need both, and that is what the generators produce.
You can't do better than that.

Advice on making colloidal silver
We do not provide advice on making colloidal silver at home. Many
companies sell colloidal silver generators and dozens of web sites
provide information for experimenters and home hobbyists. *All the
machines sold for making colloidal silver use an electrolysis process
and make ionic silver. There are no machines sold that are capable of

Having recently purchasing a silvergen, to make my own EIS - CS at
home this struck me. This created some confusion for me, so I wanted
to get feedback from group members. Am I to understand that I am not
making colloidal silver at all? If not, what am I producing with the
silvergen unit.
