Give me a break. You insinuated that I had said that MSPs were 'dangerous'. >> 2) Certainly it may be more effective than CS in >> getting to the urinary tract, but if you simply >> increase the doseage of CS (anywhere from 1/4 to a full >> gallon a day), you wil definitely knock it out, with no >> chance of argyria. > > There is no retreat from 'definitely' and 'no chance'. Why should I want to retreat from them? It is a true statement, in relation to properly made/stored/used CS. >> 3) It is my understanding that argyria can happen >> almost overnight, with little to no warning. > > It is conservatively estimated that one must have consumed at > least 900mg of protein bound silver colloid in the course of > a year to develop argyria. I meant that the SYMPTOMS (the grey skin) actually appeared almost overnight - by that, it would happen over a period of days, not months. Also, your figures on the amount of SILVEr required to produce argyria are correct, as far as you take them. What you fail to mention is that the silver in MSPs is in an entirely different FORM than that in CS. Dr Beck claims to have been consuming a gallon a day for YEARS, and has had no indication of argyria, and I have heard many other similar situations. Regardless, I was only advocating taking this much until the infection was knocked out, not for years, or even 6 months. >> 4) Though 'plenty of people' may be taking it with no ill >> effects, making the suggestion that people use it, WITHOUT A >> PROPER WARNING THAT THIS IS THE FORM THAT CAN CAUSE ARGYRIA, >> AND EXTREME CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO NOT TAKE TOO MUCH, is, >> imho, very irresponsible. > Well you are entitled to your humble opinion of course, just > as I am to mine, and it is my opinion that a course of > treatment using a silver colloid complexed with EDTA (which > after all is a metal scavenger and remover) has as much > chance of causing argyria as the doseage of CS you recommend, > and if reports are to be believed, will treat the infection > more readilly. > >> Again, I was just warning people of the possible >> consequences of taking ANY kind of silver protein. > > Sure, but did you have to SHOUT.
