I think that's wonderful, Pat! If you like her, I'd suggest you carefully warn her not to be *TOO* enthisiastic about her discoveries, and cautious about who she discusses them with. Remind her to look at the standards of treatment applied by her profession's rules of "ethics" and the likely penalties if she's seen to be becoming too radical. Then give her a solid attagirl for her efforts, and thank her for caring so much about her patients.
