Dear Faith,

I do not know what/when these muscle cramps occur, but if they are during sleep...YES this is silly beyond belief, put a bar of soap (doesn't matter the brand) beneath your sheets, where you sleep and they will not happen again...or if they do (assuming you didn't use the soap) put the bar of soap on the spasming muscle, and it will subside.

I used to get those cramps big-time, now have a bar of lavender soap beneath my sheets and they have stopped.

I may have stumbled upon a help for muscle cramps:  Glutamine 500 mg. capsules.  The directions say  take 1 capsule 3 times a day between meals.  I take one or two a day, making sure the last is before bedtime and it seems to be helping splendidly.  Google it for more information.
