If you have any normal level of light, the film will most likely be totally and completely overexposed! You don't have to sun bath, walking outside on a winter day is likely enough. Also the shorter wavelengths of light, such as UV which have a stronger effect on silver chloride easily penetrate clothing, as I sadly found out first hand once. So I would expect that the argyria would be less, but not missing entirely on his body. Of course a good bit of where it shows up and how badly could also be due to where he primarily applied it topically as well.
