Does anyone know about this fellow Jonathan Campbell? This article says that silver causes cancer and is a heavy metal, which we know is not true. "Silver in any form is a bio-accumulative toxic heavy metal, like mercury, lead, and arsenic" Seems I heard some things about him some time ago about the same time Quackwatch was knocking silver too. http://www.cqs.com/silver.htm He states this. "Metallic silver is listed in the 1979 Registry of Toxic Effects as causing cancer in animals." I cannot find a 1979 registry of toxic effects. Can anyone point me to that?
There is nothing true about any of this. See my article, it references tests run that show that silver is eliminated quite quickly from the body. Also silver is NOT a heavy metal, it is a transition metal, same as iron, which is essential to life.
He also says silver causes immune system dysfunction and *"hepatitis viral load and ALT and AST counts suddenly increased, indicating disease progression."*

Yes, that is the way it works. He is not much of a doctor if he does not know that. When you kill live hepatitis virus, you get a herx reaction, they break into multiple pieces, and no longer are hiding. Thus the test will initially show in increase, since the test does not differentiate between live and dead viruses. It is amazing that a doctor would not know this. once these are flushed out of the system, then the count goes down, normally to 0 eventually.
*Our experience is that viral count goes down with CS use as reported by some of our customers making and using EIS* Jason's site has a lot of info about silver being transitional or a heavy metal http://www.silvermedicine.org/silver-heavy-metal.html One of my customers asked me about the link to acquiring cancer from silver and I cannot determine the best way to answer. Can anyone shed more light on silver causing cancer. Dr. Robert Becker showed silver ions caused dedifferentiation of cancer cells in vitro. We have had many reports of tumors regressing and disappearing from drinking quantity of EIS. I'm pretty well convinced from anecdotal reports that it does work for that purpose. I have this link on our site. http://www.silvergen.com/cancer_and_silver.htm
The test that was done showed that putting small capsules of foreign material into the body under the skin can cause cancer. It happened with almost everything tested, even iron. Silver was simply one of the materials tested. It had to do with a foreign body being put under the skin, nothing to do with what the material was, in fact the paper says: "/Cancer. No studies were located regarding cancer in humans following inhalation, oral, or dermal exposure to silver or silver compounds. "./. If you want to read a rebuttal of all the nonsense this guy is spouting, I have written an article which you can read at: http://www.silver-colloids.com/Pubs/dark-side-rebutal.htm
