Hello everyone! It's good to be up-to-date with the list again... I've been at least a day or two behind for over a week. <sigh> I am very grateful to all of you for keeping the discussion reasonably controlled and pleasantly civil. I'm proud of you, folks.
A couple of topics are emerging that should be kept short or ended now, or moved to the OT list: Gas Prices -- for obvious reasons. Safe Deposit Boxes -- interesting topic, has done it's job; thanks TJ. Flu Shot Propaganda -- particularly the political bits of the topic. A note on the Off Topic List: It's reason for being is to give us a place to discuss all these fascinating "other" topics without bolluxing up the main list. Some do not subscribe to it, but those who do probably represent the majority of those interested in these topics. A few people object to the OT list because it's a mix of the political and other divisive topics, along with the overflow health-related discussions. Some became embroiled in topics they found offensive and eventually stopped reading the OT list as a result. My answer to this is, in order to stay sane, first you MUST learn to train your e-mail system to sort your incoming mail into separate folders for each mailing list you are on. You do not have to and should not try to cope with a jumbled mess of messages in your in-box! Secondly, you must discipline yourself to ignore and delete everything but the occasional topic of interest that migrates to the OT list. If you do these two things you will be able to make best use of the facilities. I still welcome any colloidal silver or other health-related questions on the main list, and whatever answers are relevant to them, provided that anything NOT related to CS be handled more briefly and then ended or moved. I will permit the occasional heads-up post on subjects related to the politics of alternative health and/or colloidal silver, with most or all follow-up to be taken to the Off Topic List. Lengthy discussions of the political situation is not appropriate.
