I have once again gotten a very bad infection in my ear and the swelling goes down the neck and in front of the ear. The ear is almost swollen shut. I was miserable and was discussing this re-infection with my husband and what could be causing it. He asked me if it could be sinus. I didn't know how it could be due to where it was but got to thinking about that possibility and remembered a post about treating sinus with cs. Wish I could remember who wrote it to thank them for the post. I had squirted cs before but not the technique they posted.
They said they laid on their back on their bed and hung their head over and down and put cs in their nose and let it stay in the sinus/nose area rocking it back and forth to go to different areas. By doing this the cs stays longer and doesn't go down the throat until you rise. I figured I didn't have much to loose so I got my nasal bottle of cs (converted from an Afrin bottle cleaned out) and it has a couple drops of DMSO also in it. I went thru the process even though I didn't feel my sinus was involved. Low and behold after I did this I got so much draining and the ear started to go down. Next day I did it again and more drainage and less swelling in the ear. Today the ear is almost normal and I can hear again out of it. I will continue this treatment for the week. I had thought what I had was a salivary gland or tooth or something effecting the ear but it was sinus. Thank you group for another solution. Dianne
