It sounds like allergies not an eye infection. I have one with seasonal
allergies, just got to keep the eyes clean. I wipe his eyes several times
daily if they get crusty from the tears evaporating, mostly in summer here.
Just watch in case the clear tears start looking more like pus. CS can help
resolve eye infections. Not sure about what could cause the bumps on the
eye rim, might want to have a vet look at them. Could they be scars similar
to acne scars?

What is the nutritional yeast cultured in? The transfer factor is a milk
product, this dog could have sensitivities to milk products. Try not giving
him either for a couple of weeks and see if his symptoms resolve. If they
do you could reintroduce one at a time for a few weeks and see if his
symptoms return. Process of elimination can help you figure him out.

You will want to give an animal source of fat/fat soluble vitamins rather
than the olive oil. Olive oil is something that is not natural to canines, I
don't know if they can even digest it. A good salmon or fish oil is
excellent for the skin and coat.

Question, if you are feeding raw beef and cooked chicken (no cooked chicken
bones please, raw bones are OK) what is your source of calcium for your
dogs?

  Silvia.
Great questions. Both eyes (especially the one with the bumps on the rim)
are watery, no yellowish junk.

The first thing that occurred to me was that the dog has allergies. I
don't feed any of my dogs wheat, corn or soy . At most, they'll get biscuits
that are made with quinoa. But the raw diet consists of grass-fed raw beef
and/or organic cooked chicken and/or meat leftovers from us, with various
steamed veggies. Sometimes I add virgin olive oil to the mix.

So I can't figure out what he could be allergic to. The nutritional yeast?
I give him Transfer Factor because one of my other dogs has been combatting
Lyme. She's asymptomatic now, but since they drink out of the same water
dish I figure the T.F. can't hurt.

  Thanks for your reply.
