I would stop the yeast. My shepherd had skin problems on yeast. Jess

  Silvia.
Great questions. Both eyes (especially the one with the bumps on the rim)
are watery, no yellowish junk.

The first thing that occurred to me was that the dog has allergies. I
don't feed any of my dogs wheat, corn or soy . At most, they'll get biscuits
that are made with quinoa. But the raw diet consists of grass-fed raw beef
and/or organic cooked chicken and/or meat leftovers from us, with various
steamed veggies. Sometimes I add virgin olive oil to the mix.

So I can't figure out what he could be allergic to. The nutritional yeast?
I give him Transfer Factor because one of my other dogs has been combatting
Lyme. She's asymptomatic now, but since they drink out of the same water
dish I figure the T.F. can't hurt.

  Thanks for your reply.
  Nenah

Is the eye "goopy" with yellowish junk? Or just runny/watery? Some
dogs can have allergies just like we do and their eyes will tear to help
clear pollen, dust or what ever.

If he is scratching I'm hoping the "mostly" raw diet does not include
kibble since most kibble has corn, wheat or soy which are highly allergenic
to many dogs. That can manifest as scratching, licking and chewing on
themselves, especially the feet. If he is on a good varied raw diet his
coat will only improve as will general health. Really the only thing I
would supplement with is good quality salmon oil, dogs don't need the other
stuff, it just lines the pockets of the businesses that produce and sell it.
Why the Transfer Factor? Are you worried about his immune system?
