Hi Reid, An interesting thing about Vitamin C is that in the presence of bacteria, most of which have cell walls, the ascorbic acid disrupts the cell wall of the organism allowing the body to eliminate the bacterium in the normal way. It can be used as a valuable adjust to antibiotics, depending on the antibiotic. As it does not destroy the cell wall, I assume that it would only enhance most antibiotics which have as their central activity that of cell wall identification and destruction. Seems that many things enhance other things, the trick is to know which ones and in what amount? Blessings, Susan
