It is true that you lose color with a false lense in your eye and that will probably not ever change. I've had the same experience. However, my eye Doctor suggested vitamins for eye nutrition called "Ocuvite" by Bausch and Lomb. I buy them in the pharmacy. I try to get them on sale. They are an antioxidant vitamin and mineral supplement and I have been taking them for a couple of years.
They contain Vita A, Vit C, Vit E, Zinc Selenium,, Copper and Lutein. I now see that they also contain a lot of other stuff which I am not so sure about. I take a lot of vitamins so I get plenty of supplemental nutrition. Dr from Can-C said not to take the vitamins and Can-C at the same time as they both work similiar to each other. They have a whole slew of vitamins in each capsule, Bilberry,Quercetin, Lutine, Lycopene, Ginko, ALA, Vit A, B-1, B-2, Glutethione plus a bunch more. My floater was from cataract surgery where the DR missed a chunk. Even though I haven't seen the floater my color vision is not as good as my other eye. Bright red color is darker red close to brown color. That is why I am still going to try the Vision Care vitamins.
