Just a tip. My husband recently had one pulled out (by a dentist, no probs), and he was told to make sure not to disturb the clot that forms, because that is where the healing comes from. So he was careful with that and had absolutely no problems. My daughter a few years ago went to hospital to have hers done, and ended up with dry socket and no end of problems. When I mentioned the business about the clot to her the other day, it sounded like news to her, so I suppose she was never told to look after that. All the best to your daughter Rowena
