It is the sewage that bothers me the most, and they don't report that. LOL.
The oceans are sewers, I don't want to ingest evaporated sewage, along
iwth the minerals.
We all have to make our own decisions as to what we want to ingest,
but though I have a great interest in salt, it is purely an intellectual
excercise for me, since I cannot use any salt iwth any amunt of
iodine/iodide in it. And I must also avoid any nickel I possibly can.
So no sea salt for me. Nor any iodized salt. Nor any products but one
that contain sea salt or iodized salt. (I seem to be doing ok iwth a
couple slices of the original recipe Ezekial bread per day--it lists sea
salt in the ingredients but it can't have much as it tastes perfectly
"flat" like salt free regular bread).
The issue for me is exactly that "so much of the stuff is found
commonly in other foods". That means I ingest a certain unknown and
varying amount of these minerals absolutely unavoidably. ANY extra can
put me over the top into severe allergic reactions. Therefore I avoid
what can be avoided and cross my fingers for the rest and keep a large
stock of antihistamines on hand.
