I just pulled up the report, and right on the front it says in large print "Drinking water is certified safe" so no worries, right? ;-)

alpha emitters (in pCi/l): 12.4 ave result
combined Radium (pCi/l): 3.8
Radon (pCi/l): 75

I guess they are not telling what else specifically besides radon and radium. Maybe they are it. There are other things in the water, but at very low levels. Some other things that concern me are:

arsenic: 2.4 ppb
flouride: 1.05 ppm
sulfate: 36 ppm

I like certain water- minneapolis city water (mississippi river water, processed with a newish state of the art facility) put through an RO machine, or failing that, distilled.

the well water up here has radioisotopes in it; there is less in the river water, even downriver from the power plant. I just do not like chlorinated water, but I do like it a little better than water with algae or parasites. So the RO takes out alot.
What isotopes?
