The standards regarding bottled water are different from state to
state, and in many cases, it is worse than tap water. In many other
cases, it IS tap water, just put in a bottle and resold. Here the
bottled water has to at least meet the purity standards of tap water,
and has to be tested also. --kathryn

A recent issue of Harpers Magazine contains one of the most remarkable
articles I've ever had the displeasure of reading. If you live in NYC
and drink the water, you might not want to read it. The stuff is
basically recycled sewage.
