That's okay, everybody is at a level they're comfortable with.

I've never bought a generator. The several different units I've used 
over the years I built myself. Total cost of parts for all of them 
together is probably under $100, including silver.

The reason I set this one up to produce on a 12 hour cycle is just so I 
don't have to bother designing, building and debugging an auto-shutoff 
mechanism. It's equally simple for my purposes.

I start a batch and forget it, until the next morning or evening when I 
decant the product and, if needed, start another batch.
