new quart preserving sealers that I send out cs to my family in don't seem
to present a colour or taste problem ...I never use water just alcohol and new
white paper towel to clean them first
maybe I'm way too fussy :O)

Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong as I wipe everything i.e rods,
bottles, magnet, funnel in a cloth which I have soaked with DW. Maybe
something in the cloth has done it. Its so annoying because my first attempt
was so clear. Dee

from what I'v found Dee it doesn't take much to colour it...what I
store it
in after it is done I have never washed that sealer in 4 years
